Designer Menswear in Shahpur Jat: Visiting Our New Delhi Studio

Shahpur Jat, in South Delhi, is home to many of the city's independent designer studios. For grooms and their families shopping for a wedding wardrobe, it is a place to see craft up close, meet the people who make the clothes and talk through ideas in person.

Our studio is at 37, Fashion Street, Shahpur Jat, New Delhi 110049. This is what a visit looks like.

Why visit a studio rather than a showroom

A showroom sells what is on the rail. A studio makes what you need. When you visit us, you are not choosing from a fixed stock of sizes; you are starting a garment that will be cut to your measurements and finished in our New Delhi workshop.

It is also the best way to judge embroidery. Our signature 3D embroidery rises from the cloth, and its depth is something you appreciate most when you can see it catch the light in person.

How a consultation works

  1. The occasion. We start with the events you are dressing for, the dates and the venues.
  2. The silhouette. Sherwani, bandhgala, Indo-Western, tuxedo or kurta set, and how each will work for the way you want to look and move.
  3. Colour and embroidery. We look at pieces from our collections, including Raas and Rangrez, and talk about where the embroidery should sit.
  4. Measurements. We take a detailed set of measurements so your piece can be cut to you.
  5. Timeline. Most pieces take one to four weeks to make, depending on the embroidery. We plan backwards from your first event.

What to bring

  • Your event dates and, if you have them, photographs of the venues.
  • Photographs of the bride's outfits, if you want to coordinate colours.
  • Any references you love, even from other designers. They help us understand your taste quickly.
  • The shoes you plan to wear, if you want exact trouser lengths.

Booking your visit

The studio is open Monday to Saturday. We recommend booking ahead so a member of the team can give you their full attention, especially during the wedding season. The easiest way is to message us on WhatsApp with your preferred day, or see our contact page for directions and other ways to reach us.

Can't come to Delhi?

Many of our clients never visit in person. We offer consultations by video call, and our size guide walks you through taking your own measurements at home. On every product page you can enter your measurements directly or send them on WhatsApp after ordering. Shipping is free within India; international shipping is extra, with tracked delivery worldwide.

Whether you visit Shahpur Jat or talk to us from another continent, the process is the same: a conversation first, then a garment made for you. Read more about bespoke, or browse our sherwanis to start.
